Paul i'm surprised that your saying this, i thought you had a bit more respect for Bob. I honestly couldn't give a shit about Bob's 'Grail tapes' they are very much like the box set DVD footage. Well overated and everyone thinks they'll be well awesome. Yeah i can understand that every fan would like to hear them, to make there own minds up. But don't believe the hype, if these had been any good $haron would of bought these and used them. She knows good business and they would of made great extra dvd / cd material for the future. So my hunch is a good one, i predicted the diary footage would be average, going by the trailer and it was balancing on poor. But it did sucker a few fans to go out and buy it. If anything it got our tongues wagging and gave us something to speculate / ponder on.
Yeah Paul the $ Dollar will always be king. Imagine your christmas without a job and very little coming in ?. But your one of the fortunate ones and lady luck is looking after you. Merry Christmas
Sharon does know good business, but the tapes weren't for sale, so her buying them wasn't an option. Your hunch about the diary footage quality, is that your hunch about the quality of the grail tapes, that they'd be average at best?

I'm just tired of the bullshit. All I ever hear is Bob talking about how he got screwed. I saw a link on Facebook the other day to Bob's site where he 'tells the truth about Sharon' and it was the same old thing about how she wanted Lee gone and Bob said no and then they were fired and got no credit, blah, blah, blah.

I would like to see Bob post a story about writing a song with Randy. Just one story! It never happens. How about a story about one of the first Blizzard gigs when the band was all getting along? Never see that either. Sure he says he's writing a book, but why, in 30 years, have we not heard the occasional story?

Not sure where it plays into the discussion about Bob because I'm certain he's not broke, but I know exactly what Christmas will be like with no job and very little coming in. I'm able to work for less than 20 hours a week @ minimum wage. My kids will be thankful for what they get, but it won't be much.

I am fortunate, because I am able to work past my disability and do something. Lady luck? Don't know her... I work for what I've got.

Bob was wanting some kind of payment / royalties for the tapes. Plus did $haron get to hear them ? i don't think she'd pay for something that could be of low quality. It could be made better but i'm going with my original thought of it being an average recording. What always made me suspicious, was the original idea of the Live audio cd Ozzy gig from (Southampton ?) being included with the 30th anniversary box set. Then the idea was scrapped ? was this because of the decission to not use the Grail tapes. Was this a big F*ck you to Bob ?..

Paul , Bob is a professional musician, i don't think he does anything else. So the Grail tapes would bring him dollar to the right people. It's just a shame that the people involved are not playing ball. When Bob isn't working, nothing is coming in. So he was wanting some kind of get rich quick scheme thats just my opinion. Yeah it would be cool to get some insight stories about early Ozzy gigs and RR related banter. Bob is so open with the fans i'd be very interested to know what he is going to say in his book, because the majority of it has all been discussed before.

The lady luck comment was in respect to your boss being able to put you in another position. Some people would of had a different approach and you may of been unemployed for christmas

I can tell you why live cd was probably scrapped. If it had Bob and Lee on it, the O's would have to pay them royalties. Thats why Bob tried turning the situation around in respect to the Grail Tapes. He wants permission to release them and HE pays the Osbourne's royalties. But no, Sharon won't do that either. As for the quality, all I know is that it wasn't recorded on a cheap tape recorder. The whole thing may well have been a big F*ck you to Bob, and in turn, a big F*ck you to us. Nice to know isn't it.

When Bob isn't working, I don't think it's a case of nothing coming in. How many albums has this guy played on, royalty cheques would still be coming in. And it doesn't seem like Bob would have blown all the money he's earned over the years on drugs, alcohol and parties.

I realize that, I was just in a mood last night, sorry.

I really do seem to have lady luck helping me, I went to a neurosurgeon yesterday and a physical therapist today, and both are confident that this is not as bad as originally thought and I should be able to recover in a few months.

For the record, I don't dislike Bob and am grateful for what he has given us. I'd just like to hear something new from him. He spent a lot of time with Randy, so it'd be cool to hear story he hasn't told before.

I'm sure we'll hear a lot from Bob about Randy. I think maybe sometimes we forget they weren't just in a band together, they were friends as well.

Crazy Train - I didn't know until recently that both Bob and Randy were into trains. They use to go to train museums together, and Randy use to buy small model trains, he loved'em apparently. Ozzy thought they were nut's, and part of the lyric inspiration came from what Ozzy said one day, so the story goes...."you two are off the rails, all your crazy trains and shit"...............Randy already had that great riff, Bob wrote some lyrics......Crazy Train is born.............
