Re: Question about the Seminar, Feb 82

The music store that was Music City was owned by Ron Willochell (spelling?) and later became Ron's Discount Music. I believe it has been closed since the mid 90's - the last time I was in that store was in '92. When I drove past in '96 or '97 it had been closed. The store was not on a main road and was a pain in the ass to find. Sadly, I was not at the clinic, but thought I'd offer what I know. The location - and I'm describing this the old fashioned way sans google maps - was: From Rte 30 exit to 119 south. At the first light, hang a left, go until you cross the railroad tracks and hang a right. The store was on the left.

EDIT: Pulled a google map and from what I can see and remember, I believe the store would have been on Broad street just south of Huff Ave.

Here is a map with the red square representing where I believe the store was located:

If I can hunt down the receipt from my 30th Anniv Marshall, I will have the exact address as I bought it from Ron.

So did we ever determine which actual building this was?

I'm still willing to drive out there and get pictures of it and even try to go inside if I know exactly which one it is.

EDIT: after a little digging, I think I may have found something. I will update with any results.

EDIT 2: I thought I found the guy that used to own it, Ron Willochell listed above, but nobody seems to be there by that name.
