And reading the Liner notes it says that I Dont Know (live) Originally released
"From B-side to the EpicSingle Flying High Again"(ZS5-02582)
Dude :!: The B-side from Flying High Again IS the same version as Tribute and DOES have Rudy and Tommy NOT Bob and Lee. It's not the "Tribute version" per say, because it is a different mix. That version of the Cleveland I Don't Know has been around forever and a day. It had already been released early on, then later, they reworked it and the rest of Cleveland and came out with Tribute. It sounds a bit different because of the remix but it was not re-recorded. How hard do you think it would have been for them to remove the intro? They added the crowd sound to the solo spot on Tribute...removing the very beginning of the show is easy compared to a lot of the tricks used for making Tribute.

:| The "official" live version of I Don't Know featuring Randy Rhoads that has been released on various singles over the years is the same exact song. It is the same one from Tribute. The mixes may be different, but it is the same exact song. It does sound different from single to single, but that is only because of how it was mixed.

Am I wrong in thinking that they remixed and released Tribute either at the time they removed Bob and Lee or prior to that when they released the remasters? mid to late 90's and at the same time they added more intro than was on the original tribute album?
I can't check because I only have the first release of Tribute on Tape and album and the first CD release which followed it a year or so later.

Yes, PLEASE!!!!

I hope they are gonna release some really extra bonus stuff, not just the old B-sides most people already have. Otherwise our super-Xmas might turn out to be a normal birthday!
