Re: Manchester 1980 gig poster
I found these cuttings from August & October 1980 and i noticed the promoter is the same name on the Manchester Rotters poster. Plus the miss spelt names is the same on one of the clippings. These 4 gigs didn't happen as the Blizzard album was still being produced and had not been released.. But it does confirm that the Manchester poster is legit and Ozzy did have plans to do a mini UK tour before the major 30+ dates in September October 1980

This gig is not documented, and more then likely this was another early announced cancelled gigI've checked the tour dates for 1980 and a gap is showing for the 25th October 1980. So this gig could of went ahead. It may of been cancelled due to Ozzy's voice not lasting more then 2-3 gigs without a break ?. Plus i've never seen it mentioned before now ?.

Re: Manchester 1980 gig poster
Never seen these before, interesting to see, but I do remember rumours were rife about Ozzy's new band touring around this time. I remember going to see Girlschool at a local rock club in Hull called Welly Club (its still going strong) and hearing a lot of talk about Ozzy's new band called Law who would be playing the club soon, sadly nothing came of it. I've recently tried checking with the venue to see if they've got any posters, flyers etc from July/August 1980 but they've got nowt, sadly

It would be interesting to see if the Sounds magazine had the 'Law' advertised as a listed gig in the back page. You know how they had all the places/venues in the UK in alphabetical order. To see if the Cromer gig and the West Runton pavillion had been advertised. As it was rumoured both gigs ended up being rammed, as word got out it was Ozzy doing a hushed up gig.
