Well I guess everyone has a border with listening to something with sound quallity. And by border I mean what they can class as tolerable until they lose interest and/or cannot enjoy.

Some people can still enjoy the listening experience listening to a boot and enjoy all those Randy nuances- some people like myself, find that those nuances without his sound (an equal part to the melodies and harmonies in my opinion) don't appeal to myself

and I think it important to add it is just an opinion. Thank god we are not all the same.

Luckily we don't have to choose. My friends like Ian and Darin can enjoy the boots and I can pick and choose what I like and choose to listen to Diary and Tribute.

We all still love him the same. So really who cares

and Chitown,

Again how are you old bean

This comment of listening for "3 seconds" that he played on bootlegs..you lose me..i dont think he ever played any song the same way twice from ive heard. The esteemed Don Airey, when he went to a rehearsal prior to the Diary tour said he was actually "frightened" to join the band, he had never heard anything like it before...and Airey's been around the block a few times. I saw Sabbath 3 times in their prime..75, 76, 78....trust me, you didnt miss anything...you had to listen for a full minute before you understood what song they were playing...way too loud, muddled, and distorted. as for stage presence, Iommi was tedious at best...thats what "live" means to me...
I am NOT missing your point. I understand your point...the point being that you love Randy's bootlegs and you think a certain way about them. That's fine. You are entitled to think that way.
But you are missing MY current point: different strokes for different folks.
If I don't like bootlegs from the RR/OO era, so what?
If you want to have a 2983573987 page long argument about why bootlegs/people that like bootlegs are better/smarter/whatever, go to .tk. This is a friendly accepting atmosphere.

Speaking of that, how are you?
I think the last time we PMed was back before I got tossed for calling Kevin a douche-tard, to summarize.
