Forgerys Fakes and Facsimile

I seen this on ebay, it's been put together nicely with the pics and silver 'Randy William Rhoads' plate. But i've seen things like this put together in the past and i'm very dubious to it being 100%. The signature has its faults but i'm sure someone else will tell me differently. But i did ask the seller if he collected the signature and he never replied ?. Which is a tell tale sign that they want this to sell to someone who thinks this is the genuine article. It sold for a reasonable price, but what do you think ?. If someone could post up the pic from this item as i've noticed alot of mentioned ebay items have expired and the topic is useless. My PC will not let me copy the pic. Thanks in advance

I seen this signature and noticed how the 'd' in Randy becomes part of the 'y' ?. It's the first time i have noticed this done. This does look like a genuine signature aswell ?.

I own a couple of nice RR autographs I purchased from Wyldeone. From my untrained eye, these two look like the real deal....

its real-i had one like that from feb 82.its yet another variation of his sig style but real nevertheless.even harder to fake or you never see fake ones duplicating this version.

I couldn't keep my laugh in when i seen this .... How do they get away with this. He's selling loads of these as reprints and he guarantees them not to be forgeries ?.

I pulled this thread out of the archives Mods could you put this up in the Randy Rhoads collectors corner as a sticky thread please Cheers . This is a great read for anyone thinking about buying a Randy autograph. I've seen so many fakes but a good percentage of the pics in this thread show RR signature in the different styles and how he connected his letters together etc. If you have any signed items or questions about autographs etc post them up we'd love to see them.

Here is a photo of an autograph that is unquestionably 100% genuine. I know because I asked Randy to sign my 1981 tour programme and he autographed it right there in front of me. Hope this helps with authentication of his signature.
Just for everyone's info, the trailing off in the surname is due to the fact that Randy was resting my programme on his knee/thigh to sign it - not an ideal table I'm afraid. It was after the gig, the venue was virtually empty and he was crouching down at the edge of the stage to talk to me.
