Did Tony Iommi ever see Randy play live with Ozzy, and if he did what did he think, I was just wondering. I know he was at the Birmingham N.E.C. concert in Dec'82, I've seen photos of Tony and Ozzy backstage, but Brad was in the band then.

I didn't know Ozzy had met Tony untill Live aid in 1985 since he was thrown out of Sabb in 1979. Do you have a picture of that meeting in December 1982?

Yes I do have a copy of that photo somewhere, I'll have a look for it. It was in Kerrang and it also has a revue of the Birmingham concert.

That's cool, because I've read and seen a bunch of things about the Sabbath guys over the years, how say for example Ozzy would swing by Geezer's if he was in a rented house in L.A. and have a chinwag and a pint or two. Or that they all did keep in touch and stay within the loop. That pic of Tony and Ozz is funny. Tony looks gacked out on coke and Ozzy's hamming it up. I think by then (late '82, when I reckon that picture was taken), Dio had bagged out and 'Live Evil' was about to come out the next month or something.

It's just cool that Tony, Ozzy, Geezer and Bill kept in touch and met up here and there. That's awesome.

I find it annoying that you'd revive a 4 year old thread JUST to say "Nice picture" (Or something along those lines)
