If you want to bash Kelly, please introduce yourself. It'd be nice to know who you are and your relationship to the subject so that we can understand the weight of your comments. If you are, or have been, close to Kelly and/or the Rhoads family, your comments would hold weight, if you have not been close to either, it would be assumed that you are just negative toward the subject.

For the record, without such information, most members here will likely assume you are just being negative for the sake of being negative.

Just a quick question. I've read on the Rhoads Society Facebook page that Kelli is asking for a dollar donation from each member to help publish his book. Why hasn't he asked anyone on TK or UR? They mention on the page that there are almost 100,000 viewers and if each one gives just one dollar they will have their name put in the book as a thank you. If you donate $50.00, you get a big thank you in the front of the book and some extra chapter or something. You would have to read it there. Personally, I'm not a fan of Facebook at all, but I do browse that page.

Mr.Wolfe
I don't think I have to release my private info just to prove KG is a grave robber. I think he has proven that time and time again. What are you, his street team leader?

No, you don't have to tell me anything at all. Not really sure what a 'street team leader' is, but, no, that's not me.

All I asked is that you give us any background to show that you actually know Kelly Garni or have been involved with him in any way other than the Internet. We get all kinds of folks here at UR who just like to troll and bash. I was simply asking you to tell us why you like to bash Kelly Garni.

I know a number of people who don't like the guy, and I know their reasoning, too. I also know people who do like him. I'm just a guy on an Internet site hoping to quell any unnecessary drama.

If you don' want to tell me (or the membership here at UR) anything, that's fine.

Have a nice day.

For the record, the donations are being taken here at kickstarter.com. Kickstarter is a sight dedicated to funding projects by aspiring writers, filmmakers, etc. So if you feel like being involved, follow the link, if not, then don't. Simple.

Paul are you going for the $1 or $50 option ?. The quicker he gets the money the quicker the book will be published.

The quicker you realize that KG was an outcast with all of Randy's friends even (Kevin), the quicker you will realize his book will rewrite Randy's story just to fill his pockets with thousands of dollars of the fans money. If he had anything to offer, I'm sure a publisher would pick his book up in a heartbeat. Rudy Sarzo released his book on amazon first, he did not need thousands of dollars to release a book. (After) he finished and released the book, it was picked up by a publisher and now it is everywhere. All that cost him was time. It is clear as water that Mr.Garni is on the RR fan ride again using a dead man to sell a book . Sad but true. I am glad to see his own face on it tho.

Good luck to him and all of you that will donate to him. He should just come out and say..I'm broke! can you all send me some money lol. That may work and be more believable than his book.

For the record: I happen to like the nice side of KG and don't care for the bad side at all. I know him very well.
I live in San Jose, CA now and LA most of my life. That is all you need to know.

I'd do the $200 if I had the funds. I'll give what I can after the child support and rent are paid. Not ashamed to say that, either. Am I a fool? I guess that's all in the eye of the beholder.

Thank you for that. It's one thing to know someone and comment on them and quite another to simply bash based on hearsay. I appreciate your point of view.

As for the conversation point of "it's fiction", why not ask Kelly yourself, he's very accessible. Or check out the preview chapter we are sending to all backers who back the project before August 1st. Thanks guys!

Everybody likes somethin for a buck....welllll...Our Kickstarter program for Kelly Garni's phenomenal book about growing up with Randy Rhoads and forming Quiet Riot is reaching the midway point but we wanted to once again let the LEGION of Randy Rhoads supporters know that they can get an ADVANCE chapter of the book VIA email if they back the KICKSTARTER at any level! That's right, even a BUCK will get you a sneak peak at Kelly's amazing story as well as a special acknowledgment IN the book that YOU helped to make it happen. The full Kickstarter reward campaign doesn't end until Aug 17th but the advance chapter is only available to those who join before noon US central time Aug 1st (tomorrow).
