im not talking about the actual chord he lands on, but the way the chord stops. it doesn't sound natural. sounds like the chord lasted longer or something and it was cut out.

Someone posted it on TK before I could, but it totally has a Bloodbath in Paradise vibe at first. Zakk probably shit his motorcycle chaps the first time he heard it.

OK, when I played it, thought it wasn't as fluent and smooth as other Rhoads solos, but as it was an exclusive, I let that go.
However, I put it on my iPod through iTunes and my doubts resurfaced.
The Blizzard of Ozz was downloaded no problem, BUT when I came to play it, the album had ALL tracks EXCEPT the RR track. I tried downloading again, and same thing happened..........it appears the RR track WON'T copy as a Blizzard of Ozz track, although the other bonus tracks of You Looking At Me Looking At You and the acoustic Goodbye to Romance WILL.
The RR track DOES download, but is titled as Randy Rhodes............NOT Rhoads.
Now, considering this has been several years in the making with legalities and production, you'd think they would have at least spelt Randys name correctly! I remember when I got the Tribute LP and was appalled at some of the photographs that were featured, especially the 'back-to-front' picture of Randy and his guitars that looked left handed! You'd think they'd learn from that! His legacy should be treated with respect!
Im of the opinion that the RR track ISN'T included on the Blizzard download for legal reasons, hence the mis-spelt name.
I also believe that whilst the original music WAS Randy, the solo we get is a cut and paste job from out-takes and warm-ups before recording, and put together as a solo, but as they might be mis-jointed, they might have another player re-work the piece, hence the mis-spelling and ultimately 'not as fluent and smooth' as other pieces of Randys work.
Honestly, I'm NOT trying to open a can of worms, nor looking to open a heated debate with sarcastic replies due my way (I'm sure of that!), but does anyone else see my point?

guys theses conspiracy theory are becoming far too ridiculous

I just found it on I Tunes and downloaded! Amazing solo! Yeah, those first 15 seconds definitely sound like Bloodbath in Paradise.

Do you think it's possible that Jake and Zakk got to listen to these tapes when they were in the band? I bet there are hour upon hour of these little one-off solos.

Or Zakk heard it years ago and stole it (er..was inspired by it) for Bloodbath?

I hear Randy just playing and bringing out some of his Laughing Gas solo... not overly impressive compared to stuff intended for release, but definitely Randy.

Cool I wasnt going to say anything but thats what it sounded like to me was blood bath in paradise. I always thought that song had a definite Randy vibe to it, one of my favorites off that album. God wish we could hear all the tapes Bob has, didnt he say there were some never heard before songs on that?

The track is labeled under Randy Rhodes!! as the artist and not Ozzy so it put that one track in its own folder on iTunes.
Just rename the artist for the track as ozzy and it shows up at the end of Blizzard.

I dont think they would have shown Ozzy listening to it in the Doc if it was Zakk.

On the documentary with Ozzy, he's sitting in that studio and that guy keeps playing tracks from BOO and DOAM and then he solo's Randy's track. At the end of Revelation, Mother Earth, Randy keeps playing after the song has finished and that RR solo is what he plays. It's 100% Randy, no doubt about it. He was just messing around. You can hear some of the FHA solo in it and some OTM. This one issue is cut and dry. It's Randy, it's an outtake, him just messing around. I'm glad they released it. You can feel the energy and creativity just bursting out of him.

That is just what I thought, I have not nbeen able to comment befor now because my discs only arrived a few days ago and I need to hear them more. But that riff was a song idea NOT part of a solo.

This one of the great things about this, guitarists jam in the studio to come up with licks and this is what randy was doing and then he went off and had some fun which has blown us away all these years later. Now until we hear the bob tapes this is the nearest we've got to hearing a new track from randy Rhoads and its driving awesome!!! :). I may not know randy has long as a lot of guys on this forum but I can appreciate how mega this track was and the footage.
