Ozzy was a big Beatles fan, so yeah - I guess I could see him coming up with melodies. Melodies are very important.
But basically - it's a dead giveaway that Ozzy never wrote the lyrics. Why? Just listen to him sing live. He forgets lyrics all the time. If they were "near and dear" to his heart, he'd remember them...
