Yeah, it was some sort of tape transfer so it sounds good. I'm no expert on studio recording. It includes the cadenza guitar solo from the Oxford '80 show. Psych! Sorry, I had to do it.randyrulz wrote:hansolo wrote:hansolo wrote:YOU SAID IT ALL WAS RELEASED ON CD! IT WAS A RARE CRAZY BABIES PROMO CD! I CAN'T CONTROL THE VOLUME OF MY VOICE! Does it sound better than the Mr. Crowley EP?

Re: You Said It All
It does sound pretty good, although a bit tinny compared to the black vinyl version. Not the best CD mastering on it since it was done in '88. Also, there is a mastering error on it...right after Ozzy sings "drop me through the floor", there's an annoying click, and it seems like it's on all copies pressed, like any mastering error would be. You'll definitely hear it if you have headphones on, or if you like the treble boosted. I was really bummed that it's not on the box set where it could have been remastered. This was an official promo and part 2 of a CD promo picture CD release of 3 (Miracle Man, Crazy Babies and Breaking all the Rules). All had 1 non-lp track. This one was the only one with Randy.randyrulz wrote:hansolo wrote:hansolo wrote:YOU SAID IT ALL WAS RELEASED ON CD! IT WAS A RARE CRAZY BABIES PROMO CD! I CAN'T CONTROL THE VOLUME OF MY VOICE! While the actual vinyl is very rare, the content is not. It has been hosted for years.metalrockx wrote:If you look into the bootleg section, you find my post about "The other side of Ozzy".

one unsold for $67.31
one unsold for $79.99
one SOLD for $26.81
There is a current listing for a buy it now of $79 also, may be the same guy?
Basically, the economy is down so rare albums are probably down. If you are itching to part ways with it, I'll give you $35 right now

Re: You Said It All
With Ebay, its really all down to timing! If you have the Right Product/(record/collectable) and you have the person who is looking for what you have then your Values can Double even Triple. But the Analogy I always use,is like you have this Baseball card that the book says is worth 100$ But if you go to a card shop you would be lucky to get a 1/4 of that, its only worth the 100 if youve got the guy whos gonna pay 100$ for it.
Or even better..Money..I came across some old Currency a few months bac a 10 & 20 dollar bills & they were from the 20s & 40s...Now I googled the value & the Ten was worth 25-30 Dollars....Now the coin shop wont give me but mabey 11-13 for it if I got lucky,so even though it may be worth 30,its only worth 10 to the Cashier/banker.
But Bob said Lee had the mamas gonna wory part in Flying High & he's credited Alot on Diary....Little Dolls is a Prime example of the Vocal Melodies & Harmonys of Lee. To me it doesnt really sound like an Ozzy Melody.....just my Honest Opinion.
A Good Ozzy Melody (in my mind) would be like, the bridges to Mr.Crowley,I dont know...Goodbye's Verse & Bridge,& the Bridge to Suicide.......boy when I think about it alot of the songs Bridge/Coda & PreChorus parts all seem to really have that Ozzy stamp.

Oh yeah by then, when that was written.Bob has said that Lee had a Mic when theyd Jam/Write & just sing melody ideas ass Ozzy would if he were therAndrewT1976 wrote:It's been said that Lee wrote the vocal melody, but I find it funny that the melody sounds very much like Ozzy did it. Just goes to show how much BOO was a band effort more than anything.
