Hi Shaun, I did get it from a reliable contact and I think I mentioned it here in the months leading up to the 25th. what I was told was that the full Southampton show was coming out to Mark 25 years since Randy died, but the date came and went and the O's became pretty silent on the whole subject.
Of all the things that might come out this excites me the most because those extended songs are only slightly longer but a pro recorded 'full' 1980 show is something to value and enjoy. don't get me wrong I don't think it was the best band that RR played with live but a pro sounding show with that band is a dream come true for me.

Astral,
After reading about this here earlier in the day, I went over to Ozzy.com to see if there was any sort of press release. Finding none, I clicked on the Music tab, which brought me to the identical page for the link you had originally posted.
Maybe an hour later, I went to show a co-worker, and after clicking on the same link, I was brought to 4 pages of Ozzy's available discography, with the two DOAM & Legacy Blizzard leading page 1.
Maybe someone at Sony jumped the gun? At any rate, the picture for the box is now posted at TK, as well as the FB page.
When the box pic was up, there were smaller thumbnails you could click on, that would blow up each pic, and the second Blizzard disc was indeed titled Southampton.
There was no mention originally of the live Sarzo/Aldridge show from '81.

On a side note, is it odd that what appears to be the '95 editions of Ultimate Sin and Just Say Ozzy are available for sale from the site?

I seen everthing you mentioned and when i went to have another look it was the separate Blizzard and Diary new editions only ?. As far as i am led to believe the '81 Live show is only available on the separate 'DOAM Legacy Edition' 2 disc set. This is how they'll start to get the money rolling in. One of the releases will be missing something so you'll have to buy that or the double vinyl box set with the 100 page book, memorabilia - double sided poster, replica Ozzy cross, etc $129.00 one item will be missing something so you'll be tempted to buy the box set. Which i think is a rip off. Why do we get conned into buying the vinyl which is available to buy on ebay for less then $10.00 They'll add a few live cuts, which we've most definately heard before. Add an hour documentary of every Randy supporter who plays guitar. What's shit about this is, all we want is the Live DVD footage and look at all the other crap they are teasing us with. I'll be well pissed off if these Live shows are common bootlegs tarted up in the studio. I definately didn't see anything mentioned about the whole 1980 Southampton show. I'm sure it will be the cuts from the singles and what we've heard on Tribute. Do you ever get the feeling you've been cheated  .

As far as legal issues go, i don't think Bob Daisley or Lee Kerslake are in a position to be able to do anything to stop these being released. From my emails i've sent him (Bob) he'd just be glad to see the originals available. I don't know what will be happening as far as any extra NEW Live material being released. As it will belong to the Ozzy / Rhoads estate and $haron is the money maker there. So i should imagine the Rhoads will be getting a slice of the pie. I cannot see this being pulled now, that has been removed from the Ozzy / Sony web page for a simple reason like the price is wrong or some info has been listed with a typo ?.

Yep, earlier today the link took you directly to the store to preorder the 30th anniversary boxset, which has since been pulled for some reason or another.

Ladies and Gents....the release isnt going to just get shelved now. It's coming, and soon. They're already produced box set, so it's just a matter of time. I'm just excited that we're going to get something new out of all of this.

I have a feeling the bonus footage is just going to be snippets put inside the 'documentary'....which would suck beyond belief, but aren't we all used to let downs by now??? lol

Either way, I'm excited because these releases will hopefully spawn a whole new generation of Randy fans...especially if a new live CD is included. If it is the Montreal show, Randy's playing on there is hot and outside of the diehards and collectors, not a lot of people have heard the bootlegs.

We're only getting bits and pieces of info, and still more speculation..but let's stay positive!! Something is coming our way!!

Man I really hope you're right about this, but 'if' your thoughts are based on this:

11.Paranoid
This live CD showcases the power and intensity of an Ozzy Osbourne performance from 1981, with legendary guitarist Randy Rhoads at his side and the solid rhythm section of Tommy Aldridge (drums) and Rudy Sarzo (bass).
Wouldn't they say ' live DVD' instead of 'live CD' if above is footage?
I have a feeling the 1981 'disc' is just the Montreal '81 show everybody already has for long...... (hope I'm wrong!)

I think you are right and if this were a dvd of the NY show which had been suggested it would include 'No bone Movies' in the set list.

One question I have is this,

Are the CD's od 'Diary & Blizzard' that are not sold in the box set different to those that are included in it?

The albums in the box set include the southamton show but that isn't included in the individual releases! so are the CD's in the box set also just straight copy's of Diary and blizzard without added tracks?

If that is the case do we have to buy the box set and both CD's to get all the treats?

When i seen them it didnt say anything about live 81 cd, just said along the lines of 'double sided poster, 100 page coffee table book, free cross, original diary 180gram lp(no bonus stuff), original blizzard 180gram lp(no bonus), blizzard expanded cd (live in southampton) as in one the photos, diary expanded with dvd doc , 30 years after the blizzard.
