Give my comparison a listen. I personally think he had it before the distortion +, because it seems much more clearer. If you have it after the distortion then the wah is too strong.

thats why it sounded so strong and distorted when he used it because it was after the distortion

how does it sound clear? did you listen to my audio post when i put it before the distortion you could barely hear it on picking up the pieces and when u listen to randy play it you can distinct it from the regular sound

Your picture doesn't prove a whole lot, besides that when he was in QR he had his setup like that.

When Randy had his custom board made, he may have had it made different. He used different effects too.

Until we can get an actual schematic of the board, we will never be 100% sure.

yeah when i get the board made it will also be easy to make changes like that so i will if it sounds wrong but i still want as many people opinions as i can get

also in children of the grave when he turns on the wah there is a huge difference in the tone of it and when i play with the wah before the distortion there is only a subtle difference but when i play with it after the distortion there is a huge difference like when he played it.

It just sounds like when it's after the distortion it's TOO strong.

it depends on how ur distortion is set up randy obviously didnt have it cranked because it was combined with the gain on his amp i have my gain at 5 like his and my distortion at about 75 percent up and the output at 100 percent also it helps if you have an mxr distortion plus to test it lol
