Randy Rhoads Recordings are too important for MP3

Hey, This is a forum. Things should be open for discussion. I brought up a subject for debate. We all need to get in healthy debates (I wasn't in the club in H.S.) and respectfully discuss things and LISTEN. How you agree or disagree is most important. Not the one up (+1) with the us and them mentality. Don't call someone a complainer after they bring up a subject on a FORUM! Would you agree Randy Rhoads bootlegs are important! I stated several times the MP3 sound good but I'm not an expert. In other words, "I don't Know!" By the way, I should have thanked those with the sources who ripped or helped to put these shows up. Thanks guys! I'm glad there are sites like these and others that share "The Secret History" of music but the "rockstar" attitudes need to go. I came here to try and exchange information on my favorite guitarist, Randy and I'm trying to get some conversations going (posters, bootlegs, etc) not point fingers and draw lines in the sand.

Actually on a related issue (to do with nickel bandet behaviour

) a friend said how his wife was outraged doing her family tree that she had to actually pay for some of the info.

He basically said to her that ten years ago she would have happily gone to the correct info centre and handed over the cash, but because it is on the internet, she has the common mentality that everything should be free/on the house!

He called her a tight old cow LMAO

First of all, I agree that a discussion is great. The original post made some points I disagreed with and I posted a response that I hope did nothing more than explain my opinion.

Now then:

In my opinion these boots aren't that important. There are a couple good ones that are interesting... the early Blizzard shows with Bob and Lee for instance, and a Diary show for comparison, but a lot of the boots just showcase the fact that the band played the same songs over and over and over. Some people like that, I find it boring, but I'm grateful that the shows are available to those who want them.

I respect what Hans is asking and it is a good debate. I can understand why people would want FLAC/WAV audio, but sometimes it isn't easy. We provide MP3 to allow users to easily get their hands on some fairly rare goodies

This is a healthy debating forum and nobody should point the finger as such, but if someone doesn't agree then they have the freedom to say so
