Alex Welcome to the finest RR forum this side of Norfolk anyway
I would seriously think about your tattoo. Is this your first tat ?. I don't want to slur you idea but it sounds very basic. I would consider going for his portrait as long as the guy who's doing your tatt is good at faces. You don't want it looking nothing like him. But what ever you choose its going to be with you for the rest of your life. So take that on board. I know loads of people who have had tatts covered up because they thought they looked good at the time. What about Randy's name wrote in the same font as Ozzy's which appeared on the front of the Diary of a Madman programme. I seen it some where and i thought it looked cool.

In terms of Tatoo's yes its my first. Yeh I thought about it long and hard. I did think about having the picture where Ozzy is lifting Randy while playing but i felt that this was far more likely to go wrong? Maybe its just me.
In terms of the Font i think that was what i was going to go for or possible the font on the front of the Blizzard of Ozz Album cover.
But in terms of the Tat i have a little while to think about it but this is what i think it will end up being.
And what are you trying to say about Norfolk ? Lol.

ANY tattoo can go wrong.. But yes, portraits especially can go wrong.. I also suggest putting lots of thought into what you want to get.. Remember, it is forever! Im all for a Randy tatt, but just make sure you get it done how you really want it.. Also, make sure you go to a reputable artist!!!!! Research, research, research! A good tattoo/artist will cost more money, but its worth it. There are ALOT of crappy tattooers out there. Not only can the tattoo look like crap, but they can also do damage to your body.. Trust me, I know from experience.. Just make sure you go to someone that has a good rep.. Also, sometimes the more unique a tattoo is, the better it turns out.. Artists get bored easily and will rush through basic stuff sometimes.. A lot of people end up hating/regreting their first tattoo. Either because they didnt put any thought into it, or they went to a subpar shop.. Keep us posted!
