Looks to me like they're forcing themselves to smile. Could it be trouble in paradise here?

Must have been some really good times back then.

I found this over at Ozzy's Facebook it's the first time i've seen this one. Someone must of zoomed in from the stand.

Nice find Shaun!
I think there is still a possibility that this gig was filmed from distance.......

Great shot and I love the angle it was taken from.
Patrick, of all the shows that were video'd I think that this show and Portvale are the clear favorites. I am sure that audience/ friend of the band or organiser had a camera and shot something.

Check out "Lynyrd Skynyrd" playing there a couple years earlier:

Where are the cams....?
(at 0:28 someone was filming all the way from the other side of the stadium across the stage, the entire stage is visible upper left there)

Yeah somebody was filming all the way from the back of the venue pointing toward the stage which is way off in the distance...never mind the guy swaying back and forth with his ladyThe Flying Dutchman wrote:Check out "Lynyrd Skynyrd" playing there a couple years earlier:

This is a good performance by Skynyrd, they sound good live. Wish I had this whole concert to look at with all the bands playing that day, and with Peter Frampton playing that day too.
Surely somebody had a camera filming when Randy played here....what a screw up if they didn't!! Can you imagine film as good as this Skynyrd stuff, except with Randy playing?? Wow that would be good....maybe the show that the Os will be releasing will be DOTG!!

I noticed the keyboardist Lyndsey Bridgewater on stage left. Where did they hide the guy at the HMH Portvale gig 1981. As the photos have shown both sides of the stage and no sign of him ?..

Taken from really, REALLY far back.
That's why there is zero detail in the facial features.

The top one ... looking at his hand on the frets, I wonder what he was playing there.
