I don't think Randy used this guitar much i was looking at some photos of how the black V looks today. The back of his white V has lots of buckle rash from his studded belt etc. The back of this one has next to no visible scratches etc. A couple of questions when did Randy receive the guitar and how many gigs has the guitar been photographed at.

He recieved it New Year's Eve 1981 for the opening of the diary tour. It is not believed that he used it at all on stage for a few weeks because he wanted to get use to it.

There's really only two proven songs we know that he used it on from the pictures we have seen.

Flying high and IDK. I think that right there tells you he was still experimenting with it since there two different turnings.

Speaking of the balck jackson, there is yet another variant coming out of it this month sometime. It's call the RRT PRO, available in white of black. It maple body, 24 fret and ebony fret board. I think it is supposed to be under 1k. I am definitely getting one of these.

Yeah, I went on the Jackson site last night and then checked the traditional music stores online...Not out yet...it would be nice if they gave it a special "Memorial Day" discount!
