Bravo you can see it too finally someone else can see it? You see the World at War theme was just those first 8 bars or so before the program started. So Randy wouldve heard basically the part i edited. And he had said a holocaust documentary with an " odd motif running through it" and its exactly that, and wouldve been the only documentary on british tv ( BBC) in 1979-80. I always found the theme tune sad /tragic.

They are not in the same key no,. The way Randy constructed the melody in the verses over the 7/4 theme and the note sequence /pattern is almost a match.
Ill put up a metronome with the clips to try and make it a bit clearer
