God I hope there's one more gem hidden away. There's been much ado and speculation. I look at the fact that we have little footage from the BOO tour simply because that's when the Blizzard of Ozz band ( I call it that respectfully for ALL members involved),was just beginning to blow up so there wasn't a lot of footage captured. But by the end of the tour it got frenzied and everybody wanted Ozzy. So by the time DOAM came out stage production and ticket sales were over the top... then Randy was snatched away from us... but then BAMMM!!! Immediately SOTD was recorded both as a live record and video was recorded. And to boot it was professionally well done.... but we are to believe that there is nothing else before that other than the ET footage that was documented. Maybe its just wishful thinking but I find it hard to swallow that there is no other footage available that someone isn't sitting on for whatever rea$on.
King of a thousand knights, pawn in a table fight, losing to you
That will be the clip of Ozzy watching the live footage of Randy on stage with him. Ozzy says thats the first time i've seen any film of Randy Live on stage. I've always said if Ozzy had any film or knowledge of any gigs filmed etc. Why would he be saying this and why didn't he use the footage back in 1987 when he did the RR tribute Crazy Train video. The footage he is watching came out with the 30th anniversary box set of the re-released blizzard and diary albums. as far as i can remember the footage was found during Peter Margolis's search for film for the documentary. This had to be ok'd by the Osbournes it was 8mm cine film pieced together shot by a fan from the front row.
There is this is Randy´s "Happy Birthday" on YouTube and I wonder if it would be more material like that...Maybe his friends would share with us someday. I think that I have read that Randy wanted Lori Hollen to be his biographer. Maybe if she write a book or make a documentary...maybe Im dreaming to much hehehe.
Sitting here watching tv reading the forum and just started thinks how nice it would be to watch a live Ozzy/Randy concert on my 63". Just to see him finish the suicide solo, Ozzy walk back out stage and finish the song would be amazing.
One day it will happen and the countdown had begun, just what day will it be?
