It's funny or weird how Brad adapted the Rudy Sarzo move (that we all hated from the Albuquerque video) and around 1:50 they synchronize (Rudy and Brad). Sorry if off topic and I expect this will be moved but something "new".

The early days was all down to eyes on Ozzy, $haron had told Rudy and Randy to stick to a small area of stage and not to up-stage Ozzy. I think the only time you see the band being free on stage was before $haron lay the law down. The stage shows are all rehearsed these days and it will be down to the arrangement of Gus meeting up with Ozzy centre stage during Crazy Train etc. Everything from the opening welcome chat to the crowd "Hello 'Where ever' we love you all, you fkn rock.. the best crowd etc... " to the final song.barossadude wrote:With all the dozens of times I've watched SOTD - Ive never noticed this before, till now. And now cant stop laughing about the synchronized moves
On a similar topic - has any one else noticed with Ozzy's other guitar players - Jake, Zakk, Joe & Gus - they jump & run around stage, do their thing here, do their thing there etc etc but Randy pretty much was in his little section of the stage & rarely moved from it. Why?? But when you look at the QR footage, Randy is here, there & movin round like a jack rabbit...
Having seen Ozzy live years ago, I can agree with you here. I seen him on the OZZMOSIS tour with Joe Holmes, and Ozzy was clearly the centre of attention. Joe stayed to the side and did his thing there. I'd say of all Ozzy's guitarists, he's been the most nondescript and low-key on stage.GUITARIDOL5682 wrote:The early days was all down to eyes on Ozzy, $haron had told Rudy and Randy to stick to a small area of stage and not to up-stage Ozzy. Honestly, I think Randy may have upstaged Ozzy for sure, and perhaps all those other players, good as they are, had he been able to play alongside them. There's a tangible vibe watching Randy play on video, and an undeniable charisma he had. The only one who would give him a run for his money in that regard, IMO, would be Jake E.
