Randy's gibson serial #

Post by Rybones »

I recall there being a documented serial number on Randy's les paul, to determine the age. Does anyone know if the consecutive number les paul has ever been known? A number before of after Randy's? Imagine how cool that would be!

Being a mid 70's, the serial # cannot give an accurate date. Pot codes and specs ( which vary ) would be the best indicator of date. Some say his is a 75, if it is indeed a 74 it was one without the 20th Anniversary inlay. Truth be told, we'll likely never know for sure.

The point I am trying to make is, that somewhere in the world, there is another les paul with one digit more and one digit less than Randy's. Wonder where those are.
