Just curious, the letters Ozzy wrote to the prisoner that he gave the guitar to, were they dated '86?

Yeah, I thought so. You got a couple of other dates wrong as well.
this guitar was sent by grover jackson to sharon osbourne (then Arden) in 83

Sharon married Ozzy in July '82
... in 86 at wormwood scrubs prison Ozzy handed the guitar to one of the inmates, i believe he was the guitarist of the lags band that jammed jailhouse rock with Ozzys band at the end of the legendary gig. Jake had left Ozzy by then in fact the wormwood scrubs gig was Zaks first gig
Jake wasn't fired until '87.

Any chance of you scanning Ozzy's letters and sharing? :)

Give me your email and I'm happy to show you them as I have stated to you I am looking for some help in finding a picture of the guitar in action, I don't know everything only what I have researched, I have the letter from Jackson and the envelope it came in addressed to the guy in the prison stating they gave the guitar to Sharon and absolutely not to attempt to fit a term into it .... I guess they must have known Sharon before she became mrs o although they do state ozzies wife and formally sharon arden in brackets I was pretty sure zak was at the scrubs but didn't think Jake was, that could be interesting, that would make sense if Jake ever had the guitar on loan or something .... in the book I have and the metal hammer mag I have interviews with ozzy that details him giving the guitar to the guy in prison signage on the case ties the lag and the guitar together, any thanks for your help fella my search continues !
