Sammy didn't mention Randy in his book, Red. He played with both Ed and Satch, and both of them know about Randy. Then there is the fact that he did, indeed, play an RR Jackson with Van Halen (curious about Ed's opinion on that... think he tried it out?), so I'm sure Sammy knows about Randy...
