I so agree with you! I am only 15 years old and I love 70's era clothing...I wear 13 inch bellbottoms

I think the same thing too about 1982. It's like a kind of BC/AD marker. Plus, 1982 was the last year were the 80's looked like it could pass for the 70's!

My first thought if I suddenly woke up and "1982" was on all the calenders would be, "is there still time to catch a Diary of A Madman show!?!?"

If i suddenly woke up in 1982 i would first go see if i could save Randy then go to a used car lot and buy a 69 Corvette

I hear you on the whole "early 80's looked like late 70's" idea. I always found that kind of funny. I was recently watching a clip of Bill Clinton speaking in like 1993, and I swear, everyone in the audience, and even Bill looked like it was 1985. It's funny how there is always that lag with ends/beginnings of decades. Lol:)
