Wow, if you listen really closely to the right channel of the bridge in Diary of a Madman, you can hear harmonics! I never knew that.

Thank you so much!

Thanks guys, I'm glad you all like them! They are true pieces of art.

Yes, there is a separate track just for the bass. Should I post them as well? If people were interested to hear them or join the tracks together?

Randy's isolated guitar sounds like a god damn freight train on OTM  and It's great to listen to the isolated guitar parts for Diary as well, and really hear each note...with the album recordings you can't always hear everything Randy was playing...I wish they would have put atleast one of the full albums on the DLC for the game though, or maybe atleast one or two more songs from each album...

Thanks Rhece. This is the kind of 'bonus' material I think most of us would have liked to have had on the box set. I'm happy with it, but there could have been some cool stuff without much more of an effort. These are awesome :-)

I thought it was amazing. It's sad how much stuff they turned down in the mix. :?

You're a genius, thank you. I don't suppose you could upload the backing tracks with the bass added could you?

It's with great pleasure to be sharing the isolated guitar tracks of the Rock Band 3 DLC Pack. After I got the .ogg files of the guitar tracks, I then converted them to 320kps mp3 for your listening pleasure! I also included Bark At The Moon and Mama I'm Coming Home as well.

OTM was awesome man, love that tone, always felt that was Randy's angriest tune, love hearing him get nasty on that track.

And Diary is simply a musical masterpiece.

Small Update!!

OK, so I have figured out now exactly what I need to do to get the bass, drums, vocals and guitars together to create the backing tracks. It's too late now and I have work tomorrow but will be working on getting all the tracks done when I get home. Once I get the backing tracks done, I'll upload them for you guys to download.

Then what I'll do is put all the .ogg files in the folders of each song, have each track labeled, ie 'drums.ogg' and then post those up with a small tutorial on how to get these working on Audacity so that you guys can create your own mixes etc. For example you can play any combination you want like Vocals and Randy, or Drums and Randy or everyone except Ozzy etc...
I think some of you on here will love it!

I have just been fiddling around here with it and it works amazing!! I'm playing just the bass and drum parts from Diary right now and it's a whole different song.

So keep your eyes peeled for those!
Cheers,
- Rhece
