It's cool, you're welcome to ask, I just can't be specific as one of the aims of this book is to rise above the idiots who compete for ownership of RR's legacy -- and as you know, there are a few -- therefore I can't name names.

Plenty of new info about his childhood from his school friends, lots of cool new stuff about his life as a musician from Grover Jackson, Bob Daisley and others.
Thank you so much Joel for answering those questions. I appreciate it. Looking forward to the book. Cheers.

This is such a true statement. It could be in own thread. It seems like everyone thought they were the person who was Randy's true best friend. I think he was such a nice guy everyone felt that close to him.

I have discussed this with a friend on this board before but for me the person that was most sincere when speaking about Randy, be it good or bad, was Kevin DuBrow. To bad he isn't around to be a part of your book.

Just received an notice from Amazon.com that June 17 it the expected delivery date!

I can only imagine how frustrating these sort of things must be for authors!! Lars Amend co-authored Rudof Schneker's (Scorpions) autobiography a years ago, and it still hasn't be released in English yet!! It was originally written in their native language of German. Yet, the publisher has released in Portuguese, and recently Bulgarian of all languages. When asked about it, all they could say was that, "It's complicated".

Sorry, I meant to say .ca , not .com. It's very strange that you got a different date from the same place?! :?
