Myth: Ozzy Osbourne - Mr. Crowley Live EP
Hi folks,
let's come to business about this nearly lost album, which is a part
of Randy Rhoads discography. For most of us certainly the lost
puzzle part...
1. Has someone a reliable track listing of this album ?
(I was searching for it... in vain...)
2. Was this album ever officially released as a CD ?
3. And how is the sound quality of it ? Someone from a musician
board said, that it sucks hell, but as such impressions are totally
subjective, I'm interested in your opinion.

I bought this album from a shop in UK more than 10 years ago.
Maybe it's still available? (check out 'Record Collector' magazine or ebay)
Sound quality is great!
However 'Suicide solution' has not Randy's spotlight solo on this one...
I also heard it was from the "South Hampton" show. And heard that 'Goodbye to Romance' and 'no bone movies' on "Tribute" are from that same South Hampton show. All recorded professional, makes me wonder where the other songs are they probably recorded?
Welcome aboard btw!

Yes I think it was there, not sure if he switched the solos completely. I do remember he used some parts of the second solo in the first one. I always wondered if he did it by accident or on purpose?Stiltzkin wrote:isn't that where he switches the solos in mr. crowley ?
I want to check out but I don't have a record player in house. Have to go to my parents to listen it.

Phew, thank you for the feedback. Thanks to it, I abstain from buying
a "Live EP" from eBay, which is available right now, because 1.
it's a CD-R and 2. it contains more songs than you've stated a decent
"Live EP" has.
So it's very likely, that someone just tinkered it together and I wouldn't
even exclude, that it's sourced from mp3 ... one has to watch out on
eBay, for instance someone there always sells Smashing Pumpkins -
Machina II-album as CDs for months now. And always he writes some-
thing like 'grab one of the last items', 'Out Of Print' and stuff like
that...
Where's the problem in this example ? Machina II never was officially
released as a CD. It's only available in form of digital files on the
i-net or - and keep in mind, that it's frigging unlikely that someone
can count onself to this very little number of owners - in form of
25 vinyls worldwide. So he just downloads the files, burns them
and sells them, although it's the artists intention to spread it for
free.

This is a mislabeled track and is NOT violet fox but a band who were around for about 3 weeks.
2. Flame On
Cant say whether this is legit or not, perhaps if you get chance to put them on PC we can trade and ill be able to identify it!
3. Instumental
One instrumental is real and one is fake, i cannot tell whether u have the real or fake one!
4. Mr. Cruel
Actually its called Mr. Cool and was performed by a band called Killer Kain with WASP guitarist Blackie Lawless. It was released on an EP in 1974 i think.
Doesn't Blackie Lawless play bass but Randy Piper and Chris Holmes play guitar? You're probably right though because I can imagine him playing both since as he is the main songwritter in W.A.S.P.skezza wrote:1. She's So Trecherous

yeah probably! they are all mislabeled, no big deal really. Blackie did play lead at one point, ill have to find out when
He was lead i think!WASPNation wrote:After six months playing with the then dying NEW YORK DOLLS, Blackie and fellow DOLLS bassist Arthur Kane decide to leave New York and head to L.A. They form a band called KILLER KANE and release a 33 ½ EP. This includes the tracks MR COOL on Side 1, LONGHAIRED WOMAN and DONT NEED YOU on Side 2. Blackie is known at this time as "Blackie Gooseman". Eventually KILLER KANE breaks up, Arthur decides to go back to New York and Blackie stays in L.A.
