Nope... He said there is gonna be another clip of Rudy watching the footage with Blasko. I had commented that i hoped Tommy Aldridge was involved. Wizard didn't say anything to that. So i am guessing he isn't.

Re: Well...The Trailer (Long Version) Should be soon
I can see filming the reactions of Ozzy, Rudy and Tommy, but after that, it's kind of pointless...not to be a prick, but, why not film my reaction, or Matt's, or Des'?
Kind of a bummer that Ozzy's current band is figuring into this a lot, as they're in their early-mid 40's like most of us and therefore were in junior high/ high school when this show was filmed.
It'd be sad if Tommy weren't a part of this, it's bad enough Lee and Bob are out...again, where is Don Airey, or Lindsay Bridgewater, or Max Norman? Zakk's involvement is the only one that makes sense, as he'd been not only a fan, but held the guitar slot in Ozzy's band for the longest and played all of those songs.
I'd rather have Thelma's reaction to the footage before hearing what Rob Zombie's former rythym section have to say, really.

Re: Well...The Trailer (Long Version) Should be soon
There was 8mm Kodak MOVIE FILM (3 1/2" reels) and there was 8mm Sony magnetic VIDEO TAPE (Video8) - which wasn't even introduced until about 1985.axeman_12656 wrote:Sorry Guys!jimiforrest wrote:Per Sharon, in a previous interview...the reels were 20 minutes long. The 3 minutes refers to the time it took to change the reels.
But a simple Google search reviled this fact about 8MM Film
"Common length film spools allowed filming of about 3 minutes to 4.5 minutes at 12, 15, 16 and 18 frames per second."
Two different animals.
These would have to be 8mm "movie film" - not 8mm "video." If they were 20 minute each reels - they sure weren't consumer grade film reels.

good shit thanks rrp!!!

Not sure if anyone noticed from the trailer but you can see it is in widescreen format on Ozzy's tv which is sweet. Hope we all don't get the square box 4:3 ratio version.
Re: Well...The Trailer (Long Version) Should be soon
RE:LWidescreen. The film wasn't shot in widescreen, however I understand the stage view. I guess it could be cropped. I'll wait until it comes out before I critique. I hope the didn't cut off any heads...
Re: Well...The Trailer (Long Version) Should be soon
interesting..
Re: Well...The Trailer (Long Version) Should be soon
That's right - "Widescreen," in this case, would just crop out the top and bottom of the picture, rather than add anything to it. If they use a fake letterboxing effect, they might wind up cropping out Randy's picking hand in some spots. I'd much rather they go with the 4:3 frame as originally filmed.
