I was checking over at play.com (UK mail order company) to see if the Ozzy box set is availble over there and i seen this DVD announced coming soon ??.

The Blizzard Expanded and Diary Legacy Edition CD's are available there for £4.99 - £11.99 but no box set... shit.

Interesting....it says artwork subject to change?? I doubt Ozzy woul Officially rellease that Again?It was Taped for & aired on MTV on Haloween 82 (the SOTD Concert) Mabey its some kinda "Different" product being released after the Box-Set to Bank on mabey Possible other RR footage that wont be on the 30 Years after the Blizzard DVD?? Or another way to sell that seperatly from the Box-set because lets Face it,the DVD IS THE MAIN insentive thats gonna sell the Box-Set...right? I mean Most of us have the Originals & would be ALOT less likely to buy them again w/o the Footage. I am very excited about George Marino being involved in the Mastering,but I am an AudioPhile & to the Vast Majority,they wouldnt notice the difference,shit I bet Alot dont even know the rerecordings

The dvd is the irvine meadows one because i bought a copy from play.com last year, they (whoever owns rights,whatnot) changed the name(speaking) it has a blue cover with three screenshots on it.

But if that is the title 'Speaking of the Devil' could this be a new dvd and why would it be announced as coming soon. Old products don't get that sort of intro 'Coming soon' is used for new material. Plus if this had been released before they would know how much it was and they'd have the details up on the advert. Has this been mentioned over at amazon ?.

I dunno about amazon but its like late last year (sept 6 i think the release date was) there was a repackage of this put up for preorder with a copy of the tour programe and a different cover but it never got released so hmv cancelled my preorder, to me it looks like one of them official bootleg companys tryna keep selling the same thing with different artwork.

For example from amazonuk. Ive gotten two different dvds of a john lennon gig that arnt comercially available on dvd , and were only out on vhs in the 80s.
Be nice if it is a new randy dvd on its own so us english can get it without the cruciful and ect.

I have noticed that all the Speak of the devil - Irvine Meadows dvd's have all vanished from ebay, amazon, play.com. So it could simply be an official release by sony. I always thought the one released with the mini 1981 tour programme was an official release.

I think it was actually released in japan with a cd of the gig, i think there is a thread on it on here somewhere.
