Randy's space echo

Post by Norselaw »

I'm thinking about adding the space echo to my effects and was wondering if anyone on here has messed with these before? I was hoping to use it during solos to add reverb or dealy. Should I just get a holy grail pedal? Does anyone know if Randy used it in such a manner as to add depth to his solo tone? I'd love to hear from you as I've had stellar opinions from folks on here in the past.

ive got the remake the roland re-20 and it is awesome. i have it set to a randy like setting, but he used in in stereo (2 full stacks) but it can make it sound like two guitars at once.

So do you just use it for a mild reverb? How exactly do you use it? If you wouldn't mind please share your settings.
