I was only 11 at the time, but I can remember seeing the article about the crash in the NY daily news. I'm pretty sure they had the picture of the band on the steps at Disney with the article.Very sad

I was 13 when Randy passed.... I eventually got to see the Diary concert in May of 82 (my first concert) the imfamous "Speak of the Devil" show at Irvine Meadows (with Brad Gillis). Good show but it wasn't Randy. Like I said on Face Book... "though we see him as a guitar God (and rightfully so) he was/is a beloved Son, Brother & friend to his family. RIP Randy and may God Be with Dolores Rhoads and the Rhoads Family!
