According to a store participating in RSD, BOO and DOAM vinyls will be $24.99 each. They had no other details, but that sounds like pricing for 2LP sets with bonus tracks....or myabe some kind of 180g vinyl, but I'm inclined to think 2LP (and hoping)!

A local hard rock radio station here in MA, (WAAF), has been hosting a "Blizzard of Ozz" weekend.
The DJ will periodaclly give listeners a text code, which they in turn text to the station. Everyone gets the usual giveaway bullsh*t like lift tickets to local ski resorts and whatnot, but are also entered for the grand prize, which is:
An ipad, with a special video greeting from Ozzy
The entire Ozzy catalog on CD
Bliizard of Ozz on vinyl
Scream on vinyl
A USB turntable.
There was no mention of when the grand prize drawing would be held.
Odd there was no mention of Diary on vinyl. The folks at the station suggested I try calling during the regular workweek to speak to someone who migh be able to answer my questions, such as the contents of the vinyl Blizzard.
We'll see what happens.
Anyone else have anything related with their local metal station?

Like many fans, there are 2 things I'd like to find out before buying anything:
1 - will the LP be mastered differently than the cd (hopefully better sounding) and contain all of the tracks of the cd editions?
2 - Will the Randy footage only be available with the cd set or will it be available separately?
Hopefully this will be answered in the following weeks before the Vinyl editions come out.

I honestly think the O$bourne's are going to milk the buying publics pockets dry on this one. I've seen a few bands doing similar, and like suckers the fans go out and buy it. The Blizzard & Diary albums will be released as normal LP's as the originals. They'll wait until they've made plenty $$$$$ on those then they'll be released again on CD with extra out takes from the studio etc. Then later on a delux package will appear with the CD and and few tracks Live cuts. On the sales of this one they will then release the full concert footage of the Live gigs. They'll release one and maybe keep the other one for an anniversary release for Randy's memorial. It's the best way to con the fans and like idiots we'll go out and buy the lot. The O$bourne's have then made the maximum amount of money. On several releases instead of just one.
