Are you on about the Kelly Garni book ? That idea has gone cold and it hasn't been mentioned since the video of the book and museum. Both those ideas have been shelved or backhealed. The other book which is being writing by Joel McIver 'Crazy Train'. The last i heard on that, its due out in April / May 2011. Another book which should be a really good insight into Randy's early days in the Blizzard of Ozz. Is the Bob Daisley autobiography which is due for release sometime this year. Another book which i have just picked up is Ozzy "Talking" Ozzy in his own words by Harry Shaw it's a compilation of Ozzy quotes and things he's said in interviews over the years. Some cool pics in this aswell.

it's going from being continually "disappointed" to outright anger. Why do ALL these things keep getting shelved??? bandmembers....documentary filmmakers...books....possible video....all shut down or shelved. By family, friends, bandmembers, etc. I've never seen a person's legacy crapped all over like this has been done. Sad.
I guess the possible Daisley book will have to do and whatever this other book is. I hope they offer differ info as we've read the same things over and over.
Almost 30 years later and about all his fans have gotten is a live tribute album and a "bottle of wine" (and a guitar no one can afford). Woo. Thanks everybody.

Well as far as i'm led to believe KG book has not been mentioned no up dates on how its progress is developing etc. So i'm going with the assumption that it has been shelved or knocked on the head. The only people who sound positive on the book writing front are Bob Daisley who is constantly keeping in touch with his fans 'Good on ye Bob'. So his book looks like it will be a cracking good read and it should be out this year. Joel McIver has mentioned that his book 'Crazy Train' should be out in April May 2011. But as far as anything else its another waiting game which sucks as the fans are wanting answers. As ever we just get the mushroom treatment. Left in the dark and fed full of shit.

Yeah,Bob has said he kept Semi-Accurate Journals since the Mid 70s Raimbow days!!!
That should be great as for the RR era & when songs were written ect.ect.ect.

But its SO Unfortionate we cant even get a Ray of Hope.It seems like Sharons bitten off more then They can Chew.It Seems that for whatever pourposes (there are Lots of Legalities) the release of the Anniversary Editions of Ozzys "BEST SELLING SOLO WORKS" isnt as easy as just "Putting it out" as it may seem.Ozzy has Been on Tour & promoting his last record since last spring & hasnt let up too much.Ive seen Sharon is on some Daytime Womens show my Mother watches so she mustnt be on Tour w/him as the show airs 5 days a week???
So in all due respect theyve been busy & it would be shitty to have a less than ,rushed product than a Kick ASS release that ALOT of Time & work went into rather than a half par reremastered release. They spent a Few weeks Mixing the 9 Tracks on Blizzard.......This should have the same attention given to it

Just noticed that you can pre-order it on Amazon.com now, although the release date is a little later -- They claim it'll be June 7 now:

Hi, this is Joel McIver.

My book is indeed out on June 7, or a bit before. It features new interviews as follows:

Zakk Wylde (foreword)
Yngwie (afterword)
Kelly Garni (ex-QUIET RIOT)
Bob Daisley (ex-OZZY)
Phil Demmel (MACHINE HEAD)
Joey Jordison (SLIPKNOT)
Alexi Laiho (CHILDREN OF BODOM)
Jeff Waters (ANNIHILATOR)
Ron Jarzombek (WATCHTOWER)
Pat O’Brien (CANNIBAL CORPSE)
Mille Petrozza (KREATOR)
Ralph Santolla (DEICIDE)
Tomas ‘Samoth’ Haugen (ex-EMPEROR, THE WRETCHED END)
Randy's childhood friends Pete Wilkinson and Tami Forward
Randy's students Peter Margolis and Frank Santa Cruz
Quiet Riot photographer Ron Sobol

I hope you guys enjoy it! Bob is also doing a book and it will be a great read.

Cheers
