In case you haven’t heard yet, a documentary depicting the life of renowned metal vocalist Ozzy Osbourne is on the way.
The original title of the upcoming feature was going to be “Wreckage Of My Past”, but has now been changed to “God Bless Ozzy Osbourne”. The movie, directed by Mike Pscitelli, is being worked on by Ozzy's son Jack, and will be the first release through Jack's company Jacko Productions.
According to the information that has been released about the film, it will be a realistic representation of Ozzy’s life, warts and all. Ozzy had the following to say about trying to incorporate his dark side into the documentary:
“I said, ‘Jack it can’t be how wonderful I am all the time because I’m not that way all the time, everybody wakes up in a bad mood, everybody is a bit of a dick sometimes and everybody has a good day.’ I’m human, you know.”
“I'm hoping he’s put a bit of sweet and sour in there. A documentary about my life is great but for every good thing there’s a bad thing you know. When I was out there drinking and doing drugs I don't suppose I was Mister Charming.”
Fans of Ozzy should be sure to check out this release, which is reportedly coming soon, as it contains previously unreleased footage and interviews with former bandmates and other musicians.
In other news, Ozzy is.. uhh.. Cuddly? Apparently, while watching the Notebook with his family, the metal star was getting quite emotional.
“I’m sitting on the bed and I’m thinking I can’t let me daughter see me cry but it gets your heart,” Ozzy confessed on the television show The Talk. “I’m not really the prince of darkness. I’m a loving, cuddly guy.”
