Yeah,its froom the Same Batch (I dunno if its One or Two Reels or a half dozen 7-10 min reels??) Dunno the exact specs for Super-8.But The Films That Ron Sobol (Stan Lee from the Dickies Brother) which was friends w/QR & Photographed alot of their early stuff.Kevin I believe played w/Stan before QR.And Ron has Taken Numerous QR Photos I'm sure there are Many that we all Know/have seen that were shot by him.Anyhow he filmed the 1st show the Valley College,the Chili Cookoff,Glendale College (where the guys are wearing Dresses backstage) And the QRI Studio footage.This One song from the Whiskey was also from those reels.Ron contacted me a few months back about his footage being used.I told him I had gotten my 10th Generation copy through the mail in like 93 or 94 & he seemed Surprised to say the least,that they were on the "Black Market" His words were something like "I am shocked,I got them transfered in like 82 or 83 & the Only people that I gave copies to were "Trustworthy" & I dont know how they got Bootlegged"??
He said he had hopes of Packaging/Remastering/ & releasing them himself A+ Quality
You can see in the QR RRY Pickin up the Pieces Video how great the original quality has the potential of being,but I didnt have the Heart to tell him that wouldnt exactly happen even if they are great.....Dee wouldnt allow it,they woulda been released by Kevin if they ever woulda had a chance.I asked him about the Documentary (thinking they'd contacted him & most likely be his way of using them) But all he really answered was that alot of the Doc BS was just that BS.I mean by seeing the Trailer I know that they had already used some of his footage.But I dunno??He was Good friends w/Kevin & Kevin seemed to Know something that the rest didnt & then he passed &it seems his opionions on the Doc/people involved motives were Correct.But seeing that the Cookoff,Studio & other 2 gigs have been shared I'd share the "Lost" clip from those film reels.Actualy if your interested The ABSOULUTE

******EDIT******* I WENT AND EDITED THE RANDY FOOTAGE TOGETHER & ITS SURREAL!!!!!!! i NOW GET EVEN MORE GEARED UP FOR THAT AZ FOOTAGE,IF ITS RESTORED IN A SIMILAR QUALITY,THAT WAS 5 YEARS LATER THE CAMERA COULD BE EVEN BETTER THAN THIS!!!
