How´s the difference between pre-montage and original release?

sonically they're very similar. It's mostly a collage of excerpts of all the songs except Flying High Again, which is in it's entirety on the A side.

I have that single and I guess I didn't notice any differences. I'm an anal bastard when it comes to fun stuff like that. Kinda like the very little differences in the UK 7" version of Crazy Train (and I don't just mean the edit). Any way you could spell out the changes?

Thats why I want to listen agin to hear the differences,if there are any (besides the mastering)
I got that when I was like 15 & hadnt really listened to it many times,I think its just the Montage of the rest of the album I dont think anything Too different than the final mixes but not Positive???Thats why I want to hear it.It could be very subtle changes in the mix which I would notice now,things that I wouldnt have when I was 15.

I´ve been wondering this for few years and I´m still not quite sure, if it´s just me or are there different versions of Blizzard and Diary albums, existing...? I have 5 or 6 vinyl copies of both, BOB and Diary - and few are "for promotional" only, whatever that REALLY means, I could say that some bits sound different- like they were different mixes or something... I haven´t really sat down and listened to them back to back... I think I´ve asked ´bout this before but, anyway...

I find the montage more detailed than the full album for some reason. I have PBthal's rip and it's amazing.

I Too have a Number of copies of Both BOO & Diary.The only real difference is the first UK Pressing has a different picture on the back & a poster.Diary is the same on Vinyl too
unless you have a pressing from a foreign country.I have a German or Russian copy of Diary & it is Mastered a bit differently but the same Mix. As for Promo Copies,those are sent out fro the Company to Radio & music shops to Promote the album hence the name.
Jet has some (as most labels had special White labeled Promos) Like the Diary Pre rellease
but my Promo of BOO is the usual Blue Jet label,it has a Gold stamp on the cover & a
Press Kit
