Does this mean we have mare than one Hull based member?
Cologne she'll wear silver and americard, She'll drive a beetle car and beat you down at cool Canasta. And when the clothes are strewn don't be afraid of the room touch the fullness of her breast feel the love of her caress she will be your living end.

Just like 'Geordies' eat stottie cake and drink Newcastle Broon ale and smoke tabs.. Stereotypical images. I'm sure Ozzy mentioned the 'Mother sells Whelks' saying in an interview. Have you heard of this before ?...I'm sure our other Hull resident Fozzy mentioned this a while ago...

I heard about the backwards thing off a guy who owns a vinyl shop in town, he also said that ozzy had a fight with a doctor over his throat because it was horsing.
Dont know how true that was though.

Bloody 'ell, someone else from Hull, nice one.

Hull Daily Mail revue was pretty shit really, never gave the gig a good revue, but I remember a load of gigs from around that time at The City Hall never got a decent revue.
I've only got good memories from that gig, even though it was 30 yrs ago this year. Scary how quickly time goes by.

I don't mind the City Hall as a venue to be honest, the acoustics aren't great but if the crowds decent its a great atmosphere, far better than the Ice Arena or KC Stadium. Been to a few gigs at The Tower also, that was a great small venue.

Jazznroll did you go to the Blizzard concert at The City Hall?

Yeah I've got some from July 1988 in Hull, the small venue tour he did prior to the release of No Rest for the Wicked.
I'll dig 'em out and get 'em posted up, but not that great, the gig was but the photo's aren't.

The only other time Ozzy ever played in Hull was back in January 1971, towards the end of the Paranoid tour. I'd love to have been there, but as I was only 5 at the time I shit out. :D
