I'm the photographer that took these photos. I was an 18 year old heavy metal lover (still a heavy metal lover) who was way into concert photography. These photos were taken from the front row of the Corpus Christi, Texas show in Feb. 1982. Randy only did 11 more shows after this one before he was tragically taken from us..These photos had been stored away in my closet for 28 years and this is the first time they have ever been seen publicly. This was a B show with a minimal stage set and limited lighting....I did not use a flash, just timed my photos with the spot lights....I remember leaving the arena that night with my buddies completely blown away by what we had just witnessed...He was absolutely phenominal...
I decided recently to try to do something with my photos so I established a web site, classicconcertphotos.com...I am working on editing photos and will be adding shots to my website as we complete the editing process. We intend to stay as true to the original photo as possible and hope to keep the editing process to a minimum...All photos come from the original negatives.. I have some other Randy photos as well that have yet to be published. I have many other great shots from other bands, including photos of Bon Scott of AC/DC not long before his death....Those shots are also taken from the front row as are 90% of my pictures....Anyone interested in any of my photos can send and email through my website and we will contact you to update you on the editing process......Our goal with the web site is to provide the highest quality photos to our customers so please be patient as we work on the site.....

Thanks for all the nice comments you have made about my photos...This was a special artist and I feel lucky to have been there to experience him from such a close perspective....I look forward to hearing from you all..
