Isolated Track not Demo

Post by Silver Rhoads »

Saw this on You Tube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCyRBc45V2Y

It's labeled as a demo, but it is clearly an isolated track. Vocals and drums are still present. Anyone know if this is the original or re-recorded version?

Still cool to hear it isolated.

humm its sound to me that someone is playing randy guitar note for note over the track in the background.

if it would be the real isolated track, we would not hear the band behind

Someone has used a "Vocal remover" like a vst-plugin in Wavelab;

simple like this...

Drums sound like it's the rerecorded version. Killing the vocals makes the guitar stand out pretty good, though.

its just the track with the rythm section panned right or left...so it leaves the guitar sounding louder than anything....i love it!!!!also if you listen good you can hear just how much effects they used on ozzy's voice..

the vocal remove would not let you hear the randy guitar clear like that

check the part 3:05 3:09

YOU'LL hear a mistake.. Its someone playing over the randy guitar with similar tone

whatever they did its a extremely good job, even if they did play over it. Sounds great. If anything to much quack in the guitar the guy used to record over it

I was wondering if it was the software to remove the vocals or if someone recorded Randy's parts. Too bad they had to label it as a demo and not be upfront about it.
