Ya sorry if I came off harsh in my post also, nothing against you personally. We have been beaten up for years on this stuff. Maybe we are just jealous of the younger guys that they won't have to wait 20yrs or more like we have had to for this stuff to come out!
i think its just that the old timers have waited and waited and we have what little there is on video(gives you an idea of my age i still use that word or tape) of randy..i just cant wait! im gonna pull out whats left of my hair!!!!!lol!!!

I am 40 and used to go to conventions all the time looking for RR stuff, also Fleamarkets,searching through magazines and ESPECIALLY getting a headache looking through GOLDMINE magazine.Have any of you old timers seen a Goldmine mag lately? It looks like a supermarket flyer compared to what it used to be.Anyway!! There was this SERIOUS video collector always at the Hartford CT and Springfield MA civic center shows,and I always bumped into him and he always knew what I was looking for,He finally said to me that he KNEW from sources/friends i guess? That there was a Blizzard show filmed and he told me it was Largo MD and a NJ show.I know we all have been told but at 40 years old now I am still waiting! Just my 2 cents,sorry if i bored ya!

SATO, that's interesting that you heard a rumor about a NJ show from a hardcore guy, which is what Ozzy's PA told us a while back. NJ is looking like a good bet!
Eagle, I'm very happy you're on the hunt, and that you get that any criticism ain't a personal attack. Most of us members who've been fans from when Randy was still alive have probably been burned badly, on average, at least three times, with promises of Randy footage that never appeared. So, some are excited and skeptical at the same time. It's just cos it's crushing when promised RR footage never appears....but hey, it'll be an amazing feeling when some does finally show up.

I am talking years ago this was.For some reason he was more convincing saying the Largo Venue,cause what stuck in my mind then was watching the AC/DC video ''Back in Black'' All i thought of was WOW "There is a Blizzard show like this" and still thinking it!! Something somewhere exists and for some real good reason,I hope,it has been guarded,We can watch WWII high definition on the History channel from angles that you would think,there was a camera man there? BUT there is NO footage of the X lead singer of Black Sabbath starting a solo career? I guess you ALL know were this will go if I don't stop typing! Keep the faith!! And remember to us fans,there IS no bad show,so don't insult us by saying,''it's not good enough for a dvd/blueray blah blah blah!

SATO, Largo worries me a little. Ozzy did play there but it wasn't until April of '82 and Brad had taken over. Randy died only a week before he was going to play there. Maybe your contact just got the place name confused if he sounded real confident. Anyway, based on all that's been said here at UR in recent months I do believe there's probably 2 filmed concerts. Just gotta wait a bit longer to find out which ones.....
I see the footage 'discussion' went over here. Let me inject some comedy here for those feeling like life has been cruel so far for Randy footage. Does the footage exist? YES! Will it be released? YES! Beyond that we really have no control of when it will be put out. Look at it this way, we are knights looking for the holy grail (pro-shot Randy footage). However, it is being protected by a small, white fury rabbit. And this rabbit can fly through the air and kill you!! Sure we might lose a dozen men but hey eventually we will find the holy grail...
