Well, it won't be much of a story without the Ozzy music anyway. I mean, it will still be a great story, but how will they show those last years without the soundtrack to go with it? I am just so bummed over all of this. I really want to just go away from the boards and stop reading them and forget all about it and then one day just read somewhere: "Randy Rhoads documentary released"...but I'm OBSESSED with all things Randy and can't stay away!

Rumor has it the Osbournes are going to release a DVD with live Randy footage later this year.

I would say Kelly Garni is right, the only film Peter Margolis has on RR is one of those botched up deals like you see with Kiss sometimes and even Ozzy its just Interviews loaded with pictures and no video or music.
This is my senareo the Osbournes have all of you and the "world of fans" right where they want you. Sharon has paid for the brothers footage and they have added the audio from that show to it. This was quoted by rudy sarzo as one of the plans for new footage.

It is to close to Ozzy's book,film and new CD release! Peter has been bought out and that was the intentions of Dakota in the first place was to sell the film to the Osbournes and if that happened you may still get the documentary or it could get sheleved with bits of it used for jacks film. Like i said before "No Dakota Film Crew @ the jackson booth NO FILM"

Remember what Sharon did to Rudy? I really dont think she is going to let Dakota upstage her. And with the Osbournes it's not really about money people they have tons of that, It's about power and ego to do as you please when you please they live like kings and queens.

One other thing..Excuse me if this sounds rude!

if you will notice on the TK sight where they are talking about Ozzy's new footage it's into about three pages now and you hear nothing from Ironface that seems to know it all ..all of the time about Randy.
I think its because he knows something and has been told to shuush by PM

Well that is the rumor at th moment ,is that Dakota "PM" has sold his side out to the Osbournes. So now its a Rhoads /Osbourne collaboration..Just a rumor but it sounds right to me.

They probably have much better stuff than that.......

btw: according TAB (friend of those brothers) they were never approached by Peter either.

I am with you on this one Patrick, with Ozzy having pro-shot a show early on in 1981 it is more likely he would use this multi camera show than a shaky single camera film, I think the only people who will drool over that shakey camera film is us randy fans.
Whatever we think of Ozzy both he and Delores would only want us to see a slick production image of Randy, and the only people who can deliver that now are the Osbourne's.

Did TAB confirm that the supposed "brothers" footage was shaky one cam? I thought that it was audience shot, but was it ever confirmed how much, and what they had on tape?

I pray that what we get will be pro shot.

How I understand it that footage is one camera close to Randy, my use of 'shakey' was really making plain that this isn't pro shot and islikely to be less than perfect.
Lets be clear about one thing if this was bouncing up and down like a jack in the box I would be very happy to see and enjoy it.

Can anyone confirm what songs the brothers had on tape? Length?

Be neat to see Ozzy gather up all the Randy stuff he can get and put out one super large Randy fan's dream come true.

The 81 stuff ozzy just spoke about plus the brothers stuff, ET, after hours.

I was also thinking that Romeo must be chomping at the bit to post and say "I told ya so." LOL
