diary of a madman music video

Post by lyon76 »

i had a bootleg from the later 80's from a guy that had after hours some quiet riot stuff, but it also had a kinda trippy animated video, with diary of a madman playing in the background, did anyone else ever see this, i tried looking for it at home but could not find it, anyone have any info on it?

it was released during the Bark At The Moon era...kinda odd seeing Oz in werewolf getup in the Diary video. It was released on some sort of video compilation (mixed artists).

...and it could have been awesome. All the drama and theatrics involved in the album and tour, and then some bizarre, lame video for the actual song?

I Didn't Know That...

I didn't know that was an "actual" music video for the song. It looks more like a fan based video to me than a professional one. Does anyone know who made the video?

wow.... this video really sucks. no wonder Ozzy doesn't promote it.

the video is like a strange druggy trip than a story telling video (which is something i would expect from a song like this)

it doesn't even make any sense in most areas (and it re-uses footage from BATM) it's got some cartoons in it, and really is just confusing...

I remember being really excited about this video. I found this on some video Comp I bought in 83/84 I thought Finally some Randy footage. I was totally disapointed What Crap. The only good point is Bela Lugosi shot. I think it was something the record company thru together, It was a legit video comp release
