Randy's style of greeting?

Post by Gus »

Here's one that I guess only a few would know the answer to......When I read about other guitarists and how they greet people I wonder how Randy used to do it? Was he a handshake kind of guy? More a wave and a smile? He was so small I can't imagine him planting a big bearhug (LOL)....but who knows?

That is a question, that I think at first seems quite trivial, but would actually say a lot about Randy's nature. RR Fish was friends with Randy at school, I wonder if she can help (saucy minx that she is LOL)

It is trivial in a way, but yeah, it could also reveal a little. I remember Paul McCartney claiming how the first time he met Hendrix, Jimi said to him "Shake my left hand man, it's closer to my heart."
