I have a bunch of people at randyrhoads.society but it's taking time to warm people up to the idea, they seem to be getting enthusiastic. As you said we hope that they keep their word!
I believe I have finished the song you asked for to use in your documentary. I worked on it for 5 hours straight ( till 6:00 am Tuesday morning) doing the solo for it. Randy would be proud. It is an instrumental piece and is somewhat ominous. It is a song about the day Randy died. My personal video to Randy will be done this week if all things go right. I want it to look good and not like some of those web camera Randy covers you see on Youtube. If you know what I mean. Those that look they were videotaped in the dungeon with bad lightning.

To be a teacher you must never stop learning yourself...
I will probably ruffle a few feathers with all my questions but...
Do you want us to personally address Randy in the video as though he were still around today versus being in the third person? That is probably a stupid question but I wonder if I'm addressing him or just the audience at large?
1st person address
Randy, thank you for inspiring me to teach the guitar. I have probably learned more about guitar through teaching than simply playing for myself. Some of my students have ADD and struggle to express themselves. Guitar gives them the ability to say something meaningful through music.
3rd person address
I first time I heard of Randy was through my older brother. I was 12 years old and one of the things we would do was to turn off the lights in the room and play I Don't Know. Just as Randy's guitar would burst out from nowhere I would turn the lights on and everyone in the room would dive for cover. To us it sounded like a huge rocket gernade from nowhere.
Could we use maybe a combo of both addresses?

I'm so glad you asked me that, address with a combo of both addresses, would be nice to hear someone say not only how did Randy inspire them but have a personal thank you as well.
Cologne she'll wear silver and americard, She'll drive a beetle car and beat you down at cool Canasta. And when the clothes are strewn don't be afraid of the room touch the fullness of her breast feel the love of her caress she will be your living end.
