Even offstage, you're right .. he was EXTREMELY photogenic. A lot of that is magnified from the eyes. The hair framed his face in a way that that you were drawn to his very expressive eyes. Randy was one of those people that only come along every so often, that once they get onstage and start performing have an absolutely commanding stage presence that is captivating/electric/riveting. They exude a charisma that causes you to never want to take your eyes off them.
Bon Scott had that same electricity about him.
