This is being offered up on ebay at the moment and i think its another duff signature. What alot of people don't realise is that not many photos of Randy were available. Only until he died did the market become saturated with promo posters photos etc. When i think back to 1980-82 he was hardly ever seen in magazines. I remember my bedroom wall only having a few pics of him and these came out after 1982. Have a look and see what you think ...Could someone post the two pics up please as my PC will not store them. Not too sure myself as to how genuine the autograph is, I agree there wasn't too many photos of him in mags etc whilst he was still alive, so you do start to doubt the authenticity.

This is Not real at all . This is a Dean Messina shot from I belive los angeles in 82. When I was green on RR autos I bought one on a different photo. Then after I bought it the guy found out it was fake!! Lucky for me I got my $$ back.. but the sig was the same..

100% FAKE.
THE OTHER THREAD GOES INTO DETAIL ABOUT WHAT TO LOOK FOR IN DETERMINING REAL FROM FAKE.
SECOND THIS IS a 1982 photo-RR studded vest only appeared on the diary tour.Problem is RR passed at most within 80 days of this photo being taken.The likelyhood that this photo was widely published to fans and then to have it signed in such a short time is basically impossible.
The only real signatures of RR on photos that i have seen are on cbs/jet promo photos or tour programs.I dont think i have ever seen a diary tour program signed by RR.Back in 1981-2 you didnt have the internets.Candid photos like this pretty much only appeared in magazines and i dont remember a market place for them like ebay etc.MAybe rock conventions or mail order from the back of circus magazine etc...
Please also note that this seller makes a living out of selling signed photos.He has over 700 other listed.Ive never seen a seller of fake RR sigs that has not been offering many other signatures for sale.You should never buy from a person who has many other signatures for sale.It is a sure sign of fake sig factory.

Lastly he offers a COA.COA's are a sure sign of bogus autograph.
They are a worthless document and offer no validity to signature.
