At the age of ten, how have you come to know about Randy Rhoads?

cant be many 10 year olds on the board, so welcome aboard. Being fair, it was about that time I heard Randy for the first time myself. Although I didn't know at the time it was Randy I later heard the same song (Children of the Grave) and recognized Ozzys mad chant of "we're gonna do children of the grave ahaaaaaaaaa".

Welcome aboard

+1. The man lived an extraordinary life and did more in a few short years than most can dream of in a lifetime.

Don't be sad. I'm sure his family and friends miss him dearly but I bet more than that they cherish having known such a special and rare individual.

Knowing what his friends like Frank and Kelly have said, Randy would say "quit feeling sad about me and spend some time learning something new". That's my "Randy vibe" at least.

You've got great taste for a 10 year old.

I'm 15, the first time I heard Randy was when I downloaded an album from Ozzy, a few months ago. A friend from the U.S. told me it was a good album. By hearing the Paranoid song on the album, a version wich I had never heard before, I got interested in this guy 'Randy Rhoads'. Later on I discovered his Crazy Train song.. What a shock, I was just doing some work on my desk when I heard the intro riff.. I was amazed and searched the tabs for the song, I just had to learn it! Now I can say I almost saw every youtube video of Randy, and I'm still watching them over and over again. Randy Rhoads is my main idol to keep going on playing my guitar.
If it wasn't for Randy, I think I woulnd't be playing my guitar anymore.
