I hate to say it but I think the cream Les Paul is the guitar I think of when I hear Randy. The black Jackson is the one I used want but times have changed.

Yes, I have to agree: his Les Paul and Sandoval PDV are the ones, I always associated him with. Those + white Jackson Concorde. Black Jackson came so late in the game, that people seem to hardly know about it.

The Concorde will forever be my favorite guitar of his. Something about it is just so iconic to me.

Remember when they did the limited run of the concord, I could not believe the price of those things. I always wonder if the people that bought them played them or at that price are they more like art pieces.

Yes indeed. The same absurdity continues with those Jimi Hendrix Flying V's etc. Maybe some of the Van Halen-models are more affortable...

Weren't they $12,619.56 for his birthday? Absurd pricing.

I've never understood why they never made the Concorde model more standard, only ever did it for these limited releases.

I can not remember the exact price but I can remember thinking that it was absurd. Funny though, the one for sale on reverb now, like I thought the seller is saying that they have every only taken it out of the case for photos.
