I have been working on a book for 8 years about the late 70's early 80's LA Hard Rock/Metal Scene.

Stripped: The Unlikely Rise of the Hollywood Rock Underground features lots of stuff (with the amazingly gracious participation of the Rhoads family) about early Randy/QR/Violet Fox/The Whore, etc, as well as London, Motley Crue, Dokken, The White, The Boyz, Arthur Kane, Sister, Circus Circus, W.A.S.P, Snow.. and many more.

Including in-depth interviews with:
Bob Daisley
Kelle Rhoads
Kelly Garni
Carlos Cavazo
Tony Cavazo
Stephen Quaddros
Doug Ellison
Gary Holland
Greg Leon
Randy Piper
Lizzie Grey

And tons more.

Please feel free to check out and like the Facebook page for more info, and feel free to add my personal page as well. Always down to discuss Randy, QR etc.

Very cool, look forward to the book. Amazing time, wish the clocks could some how roll back, even for just 1 week! I often watch those QR shows and wonder what it was like to be there, in a bar, seeing RR...So freakin cool! How did you get access to the Rhoads family?
