Ultimate Rhoads

Someone has told me recently that Ozzy would like Robert Downey Jr. to play Ozzy in an upcoming film. What do you guys think of this ?

he should be done by johnny depp... he did awsome on a drunken pirate, im sure he could do awsome on a drunken rocker!

there,s a uk impersonator called john culshaw who did a couple of ads with ozzy who could do the gig....

johnny depp could pull it off not bale though , too serious , not keen on farrel either, how,s about jack black , he wants the part , he,s crazy enough and in his own words "he,s got the rock" ???

still not stuck on bale .... but your right it might take a few actors to portray him over the years .... i hope whoever makes the choice , ie sharon or someone else that they dont f**k it up !!! you say ozzys life isnt a comedy ....uuumh well some of it lol on the same vein who,s gonna play sharon and the kids or .... dare i say it , and this better be good ..... randy ?

Of the bunch listed, Colin Farrell would be, at least physically, somewhat like Ozzy if he was made up a bit. In terms of acting, Robert Downey Jr. would be the best, followed by Johnny Depp from this list.

None of these guys really jump out as playing Ozzy to me, though. They should go with an unknown and support him with a strong ensemble cast - that would make more sense.
